The Jonard Tools RST-8514 Riser Slitting Tool is designed to create a longitudinal access window in round FTTH riser cables and microducts for mid-span access. This tool is suitable for making access windows on cables with diameters ranging from 0.33 to 0.55 inches without damaging the fiber inside. It features a high-carbon steel blade that can cut through various types of FTTH cable. The factory-fixed blade does not require adjustments when working with different diameter cables.
