The KANTECH SYSTEMS USB-485 is a communication interface that converts USB signals to RS-485 protocol. It supports connection of up to 32 Kantech controllers, enabling extended communication across your system.
This interface uses unshielded twisted pair (UTP) cable and operates over distances up to 1,200 meters (4,000 feet). It draws power directly from the USB port, simplifying installation.
Compatible with Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows Datacenter 2012 (x64), Windows 10 Enterprise, Windows 8.1 Enterprise (x86 and x64), and Windows 7 Pro Enterprise/Ultimate (32- and 64-bit).
