The MOTU 848 28x32 Thunderbolt 4 Audio Interface is designed for professional studio applications. It features a maximum sampling rate of 192 kHz with 32-bit precision. The unit includes 4 microphone inputs and offers a wide range of analog audio I/O options, including 4x combo XLR-1/4" TRS mic/line/hi-z input, 8x 1/4" TRS line input, 2x 1/4" TRS insert input, 12x 1/4" TRS line output, 2x 1/4" TRS headphone output, and 2x 1/4" TRS insert output.
Digital audio I/O includes TOSLINK optical ADAT/S/PDIF input and output. The device connects via 2x USB-C and has an AC input power requirement. It features a 3.9" color TFT display and includes built-in DSP. The unit does not have a built-in microphone, but it allows for input level adjustment with a knob and offers -20 dB pad per channel.
