The Nimbus WiMi6220 Wireless 3G-SDI & HDMI H.264 Encoder/Decoder Set offers a range of wireless transmission capabilities for professional video applications. With a wireless range of 4921.3' / 1500 m (Line-of-Sight), this device is designed to provide reliable connectivity over a wide area. The unit supports 12 channels at 40 MHz and 24 channels at 20 MHz, ensuring flexibility in video transmission. Operating within multiple frequency ranges including 5.15 to 5.25 GHz, 5.25 to 5.35 GHz, 5.47 to 5.72 GHz, and 5.72 to 5.85 GHz, the device is optimized for high-speed data transfer.
The system features a latency of ≤ 80 ms, making it suitable for real-time video transmission. With 5 GHz Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) support, this encoder/decoder ensures compatibility with modern wireless networks. The transmitter includes a BNC input for 3G-SDI / HD-SDI / SD-SDI and an HDMI input, while the receiver provides a BNC output for the same video standards and an HDMI output. Audio connections are handled through 1/8" / 3.5 mm TRS interfaces on both transmitter and receiver.
Additional I/O ports include Ethernet and RS-422 interfaces, enhancing its versatility for various professional applications.
