The NVENT CADDY 3/8" lock nut is designed for open-side-up or open-side-down strut applications, offering a simple and efficient attachment method for threaded rods. Constructed from cast iron with an electrogalvanized finish, it supports static loads up to 750 lbs and a static load capacity of 3,335 lbs.
Ideal for multi-tiered trapeze installations or wall mount strut setups, this nut can be used to preassemble components that can be quickly pushed onto existing threaded rods, saving installation time and effort. It works effectively with slightly damaged threads and minor burrs on threaded rods, ensuring a secure fit.
