The transformer is rated for a 400A circuit and provides a nominal voltage output of 0.25VAC at rated current. Its split-core opening measures 31.75mm x 31.75mm, allowing easy installation without disconnecting wiring.
The lead consists of a black and white twisted pair, 18AWG, with a length of 30ft. It complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and UL2808 standards for retrofit energy monitoring equipment.
