The Studio Technologies Model 352A Talk Station is designed for voice paging and background music applications. It utilizes Dante Audio-over-Ethernet technology, supporting AES67-2013 standards and Dante Domain Manager. The device features power-over-Ethernet (PoE) connectivity with a Class 1 rating of ≤3.84 W. Internal digital audio processing includes 32-bit fixed nominal input and output levels at -20 dBFS. It supports 16, 24, or 32 bit depth and 48 kHz sample rate.

The unit has 3 transmitter channels and 4 receiver channels with 4 Dante audio flows. Network interface is 100BASE-TX twisted-pair Ethernet. Microphone input compatibility includes Studio Technologies GME-3-12 gooseneck microphone or equivalent, with 3.3 volts DC power via 2.49 kilohms resistor and 2.0 kilohms impedance. Compressor settings apply to gooseneck microphones, with audio threshold at 2.7 dB above nominal Dante output level.

Preamble audio includes 2 channels, 16-bit monophonic WAV files stored in non-volatile memory. Background music or talent cue capability allows 1 or 2 channels with configurable audio sources and frequency response from 20 Hz to 20 kHz. Dante talk outputs are 2 channels at -20 dBFS nominal level. Analog monitor output is electronically balanced, capacitor coupled for driving loads of 2 kilohms or greater.
