The Veilux VMS-2U4804 is a basic modular matrix switcher featuring 48 video inputs and 4 video outputs. It supports camera title input through a PC and includes a built-in IP port for control and video server operation. The mainframe switch is managed via IP, allowing remote programming and configuration through an easy-to-navigate menu system.
This switcher uses a 2U standard aluminum alloy case with password protection to prevent unauthorized access. Its modular design supports IE expansion and system partitioning with different keyboard priorities. The unit connects up to 16 branch keyboards and supports more than three levels of Ethernet connections.
The VMS-2U4804 offers surge and thunder protection on video and audio ports, alarm integration with timed or manual arming, and auto image recording after alarms. It supports multiple PTZ protocols including PELCO-D, PELCO-P, KALATEL (Phillips), with configurable baud rates. Additional features include output loop design, pick-up sensor light activation, and optional computer backup with hot-swap capability.
