The Veracity HIGHWIRE Powerstar Base and Camera Unit Kit is designed for PoE over coax video cable applications. It supports PoE, PoE+, and non-PoE cameras with automatic power requirements. The unit delivers power through a BNC 75 Ohms connector and is compatible with 75 Ohms coaxial cables. The transmission range reaches up to 1100' (300 m) on RG59 or 1600' (500 m) on RG11 at full rate. It offers a bandwidth of up to 200 Mbps and includes an RJ45 Ethernet connector for cable support.

The system features indicator LEDs for status, link activity, PoE over coax, PoE to camera, and power availability. Operating temperatures vary based on power delivery, with specific ranges for different power classes.
