VIKING ELECTRONICS ZPI-4 Multi-Zone Paging Interface, Touch Tone Controlled

The VIKING ELECTRONICS ZPI-4 is a multi-zone paging interface that supports control of up to four zones using Touch Tone signals, with an option to expand to eight zones. It switches line-level signals to amplifiers or amplified signals directly to speakers. Note that amplifiers are not included.

This unit features balanced audio circuitry for low noise and provides a night bell warble with adjustable volume triggered by contact closure or an incoming analog ringing line. It includes a background music input with separate volume controls for paging and music. Background music automatically mutes in paged zones except when a single amplifier mode is used.

• All-call and five group call routing selectable by Touch Tone
• Adjustable page alert tones
• Interfaces with ringing C.O. lines, Centrex lines, analog stations, paging ports, and unused phone system trunks
• Automatic disconnect on silence, CPC signal, busy tone, Touch Tone (#), or timeout
• Screw terminal connections for all inputs and outputs
