The Whirlwind LMPRE Microphone Preamplifier is a compact single channel preamp designed to provide up to 70dB of gain with 24V phantom power. It features balanced XLR input and output connectors, along with mono-summed RCA outputs. The preamp offers adjustable input gain ranging from 10 to 49 dB, and output gain of +/-15 dB. With a maximum input level of +4 dBV and output level of +23 dBV, it is suitable for a variety of microphone applications.
The frequency response ranges from 20 Hz to 10,000 Hz at 50 dB gain, with limiting up to 20,000 Hz at 40 dB gain. It has an input impedance of 20,000 Ohm differential and an equivalent input noise level of -115 dBV.
