This 6 AWG XHHW-2 building wire is stranded bare copper with cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) insulation. It is cut to length with a minimum order of 30 feet and a maximum of 1,000 feet. Call for longer lengths.
The wire is rated for 600 volts and suitable for wet or dry locations with temperatures up to 90ºC. It meets multiple safety and performance standards including UL-44, CSA C22.2 No. 38, and NEC requirements.
