This 600 MCM 3 Conductor Copper MC Cable includes a #2 ground wire and is sold by the foot. It features stranded copper conductors with moisture and flame-resistant cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE XHHW-2) insulation, color-coded black with numbers (Method 4). The conductors are compact and compressed for reliable performance.
The cable is wrapped with Mylar tape and protected by overall aluminum interlocked armor, suitable for installation in trays or other raceways, whether exposed or concealed. It meets UL standards 44, 1569, 1581, and 1685 for 600 volts at 90°C dry and 75°C wet locations, with FT4 fire rating and IEEE 1202 70,000 BTU vertical flame test compliance.
Applications include feeder circuits in commercial, industrial, institutional, and multi-residential settings. It complies with NEC Articles 230-43, 300-22, 321, 334, 518, 520, and 530 and is rated for fire wall penetration at 90°C.
