Quote validity: why a 30-day quote can still need reconfirmation

If the order depends on specific stock, reconfirm immediately before commitment. Price validity and stock reservation are separate concepts unless the supplier explicitly says the material is held for you.

Freight should be treated separately too. A product price may remain valid while a spot freight quote expires much faster, especially for oversized or expedited shipments.
