The RCF RDNet Control 8 Output Master Unit is designed for professional audio applications. It features a network connection based on the EIA RS-485 standard, allowing for daisy-chain ring architecture or bus connection with up to 8 subnets managed and up to 32 slave devices per subnet. The unit includes 8x Ethercon housed RJ45 ports with Ethernet Cat5 cable, 8x XLR chassis connectors with XLR data cable, a USB standard connection with a front panel USB type B female connector for direct control, and a rear panel standard RJ45 connector for remote control.
It also has a 4 GB SD card reader for data storage. The power supply is 100 to 240 VAC, 50 to 60 Hz (auto selection) with less than 15 W of power consumption via a Powercon connector.
