The Sequential Trigon-6 is a 6-voice polyphonic analog synthesizer featuring semi-weighted velocity-sensitive keys. It includes three discrete VCOs per voice with selectable wave shapes such as triangle, sawtooth, reverse sawtooth, and variable-width pulse. Each oscillator has hard sync capabilities and keyboard tracking options. The unit also features a low-pass filter with switchable two/four-pole, resonant, ladder design that can self-oscillate with resonance control.

Filter envelope and amplifier envelope generators are included along with LFOs offering five wave shapes including random (sample and hold). The synthesizer includes a poly mod system with sources from oscillator 3 and filter envelope, and destinations for various oscillators and effects. Vintage knob features add voice-to-voice variation in component behavior. Aftertouch is available with bi-polar amount destinations.

Clock functions include master clock, tap tempo, BPM control, and MIDI clock sync. Arpeggiator allows selection of note values and octave ranges. A polyphonic step sequencer with 64 steps and rests is included. Effects include stereo analog distortion, reverb, delay, chorus, flanger, phase shifter, and ring modulator. The unit also features a full-sized keyboard with velocity and aftertouch, backlighting, pitch and mod wheels, transpose controls, and hold switch.
