The Square D MasterPact MTZ1 Embedded Ethernet Interface (EIFE) is designed to connect MasterPact MTZ1 drawout circuit breakers to Ethernet networks. It delivers data from the Masterpact control unit via a single Ethernet access point, supporting 10/100 Mbps data flow for reliable communication.
Mounting and connection details include:
- Mounted on MasterPact MTZ1 chassis DIN rail
- Connected to the ULP port using a supplied ULP cable
- Powered through the ULP port
- Features two RJ45 sockets for Ethernet network connection
The module monitors the three positions of the circuit breaker (IN, OUT, TEST) and is compatible with EcoStruxure Power architecture and Ethernet-ready smart panels. Firmware updates are available via EcoStruxure Power Commission software.
