Exane 1068A 1 AWG Transit Cable is a flame-retardant wire rated for 600 volts, built to meet demanding transportation industry standards. It maintains flexibility and resists cracking down to -55°C, offering superior resistance to abrasion, cut-through, crush, and scraping compared to rubber, EPR, Neoprene, and Hypalon cables. The cable also provides good resistance to moisture, oil, sunlight, and fluids.
The thermoset insulation supports continuous operating temperatures up to 110°C. This cable complies with AAR RP-585/S-501, ICEA S-66-524, NFPA 130-2014, UL 1685, 49 CFR Part 238, ASTM E662, BSS 7239, VW-1, and IEEE-383 standards, ensuring fire safety and reliability in transit applications.
