It is suitable for installation in free air, raceways, or direct burial and meets NEC requirements for Class I, Division 2 industrial hazardous locations. The cable supports exposed run use per NEC and includes three or more conductors.
Constructed from fully annealed stranded bare copper, the cable has a flame-retardant PVC insulation with a clear nylon jacket and a ripcord for easy jacket removal. It is rated for 90°C in dry locations and 75°C when wet. The jacket has a 60 mil thickness or less, providing resistance to sunlight, cold bending, impact, oils, and chemicals. This tray cable meets multiple industry standards including UL Type TC-ER, IEEE 383, ICEA S-95-658, and CSA FT4.
