• LED Benefits: Unlike gas burning and arc type lamps that have glass bulbs, LEDs have no filaments or fragile housings to break during operation and/or transportation. Instead of heating a small filament or using a combination of gases to produce light, light emitting diodes (LEDs) use semi-conductive materials that illuminate when electric current is applied, providing instant illumination with no warm up or cool down time before re-striking. Because there is no warm up period, this light can be cycled on and off with no reduction in lamp life.
• Cree² Specific: This lamp uses Cree® LED units that have been chosen for their high lumen per watt ratio and extreme longevity. These Cree® LEDs generate a robust 135 lumens per watt effective lumen output and have a 70% lumen retention at 80,000 hours, giving them better efficiency and operational life than traditional light sources.
• Heat Management: Heat is the single largest factor in premature LED failure and color shifting. These LED units feature individual heat sinks per bank of six LEDs to control heat buildup rather than utilizing a single housing to dissipate heat. This allows for more thorough cooling of the LEDs for extended operating periods. This allows the LEDs to be driven at up to 90% capacity without overheating or visible loss of light output. The end result is more light with less heat and longer LED life with an average 70% lumen maintenance after 80,000 hours.

• Battery Backup: The WAL-TSL-2X500LTL-LED-RSP.2H-220V.50HZ-M1 is equipped with a rechargeable battery backup system that can run the light tower for two hours when other power sources are not available. The battery backup system features a repairable battery charger along with (2) 250aH sealed lead acid batteries
• Tower/Mounting: The WAL-TSL-2X500LTL-LED-RSP.2H-220V.50HZ-M1 is mounted on a three foot tall aluminum pole. The pole features a round base with four pre-drilled holes for permanent mounting to any flat surface. The pole and mounting base are powder coated for durability and finished in glossy blue. The aluminum mounting pole also includes two hooks for cable management.
