A 1/2 inch size fits threaded rigid metal conduit and intermediate metal conduit (IMC) connections using tapered FNPT threads. The malleable iron body features a triple-coat finish including zinc electroplate, chromate, and epoxy powder coat to protect against corrosion. Certified to UL 886 (1203) and CSA standards, this conduit sealing fitting meets dust-ignitionproof explosionproof requirements. It is part of the ESU Series 25 percent fill fittings suitable for both vertical and horizontal conduit sealing.
