Made from copper-free aluminum with an epoxy powder coat, the box resists corrosion and suits indoor or outdoor use. It has a smooth rounded integral bushing to protect conductor insulation and is internally threaded with an externally threaded cover. Its hub threads are tapered and tapped for tight, rigid joints and ground continuity. A standard internal ground screw is included. Certified for Class 1, Zones 1 and 2, and Class I Divisions 1 and 2, this enclosure meets stringent explosionproof and dust-ignitionproof standards. The cover features pry notches to facilitate removal with a bar or wrench, and standard O-rings ensure a raintight fit to NEMA 3 and 4 standards.
