The female threaded connection includes a removable ductile iron union on one end and a removable brass male nipple on the other. It meets UL 886, CSA C22.2 No. 25 and No. 30 standards, certified for Class I Division 1 and 2, Class II Division 1 and 2, and Class III environments. Intended for use with threaded rigid metal conduit and intermediate metal conduit, it offers electrical conductivity equal to rigid conduit over similar lengths without requiring a bonding jumper.
