12 AWG XHHW-2 stranded copper wire is sold by the foot with cut lengths from 100 to 2500 feet. It is rated for 600 volts and suitable for wet or dry locations with temperatures up to 90°C. This wire meets NEC requirements for feeders, branch circuits, services, and general use in conduit and raceways.
The insulation is cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) with a thickness of 0.030 inches and an overall diameter of 0.149 inches. This wire is sunlight resistant and complies with multiple standards including UL-44, CSA C22.2 No. 38, and IEEE 1202 flame tests for 1/0 AWG and larger.
