This 20 AWG thermocouple wire features 6 pairs of Type JX conductors with an overall shield for reliable signal transmission. Each pair consists of solid iron/constantan wires twisted together and identified by group numbers for easy installation. The cable includes an aluminum/Mylar shield with a tinned copper drain wire to reduce electrical noise.
The assembly is jacketed in flame-retardant PVC rated for 105°C and 300 volts. The jacket is color coded according to ISA/ANSI MC96.1 standards. The cable diameter measures 0.367 inches, making it suitable for industrial environments like aluminum and steel plants, pulp and paper mills, glass manufacturing, automotive, petrochemical, heat treating, and food processing.
