This 22-6C CMR riser security cable features six stranded 22 AWG conductors with bare copper cores. It includes an overall polyester-supported aluminum foil shield and a stranded tinned drain wire to reduce interference. The cable is jacketed in gray premium-grade PVC rated for -20°C to 75°C.
Its construction meets NEC Article 725 Type CL3R requirements with UL ratings of 75°C and 150 volts. The insulation uses color-coded S-R-PVC with a nominal thickness of 0.008 inches. The jacket is 0.015 inches thick, resulting in a 0.164-inch outside diameter.
Common applications include access control, CCTV and video surveillance, intercom systems, and burglar alarms. This riser-rated cable is suited for vertical runs in walls and between floors where fire resistance is required.
