The 3M 7621-S-2 Cold Shrink Termination Kit fits cable outside diameters from 0.44 to 0.89 inches. It is suitable for solid shielded cables rated up to 34.5 kV. This outdoor skirted kit includes three one-piece phase terminations built to provide a void-free seal.
Each termination combines silicone rubber insulation with a high dielectric constant material to control electric field stress. The dark gray insulator offers hydrophobic properties and excellent tracking resistance. The kit includes a built-in top seal, conformable stress control tube, and a UniShield® tape shield to improve durability and reduce leakage currents in damp environments.
- Rated for cable sizes 2-3/0 AWG (5 kV) and 4-2/0 AWG (8 kV)
