This 4/0 4 conductor copper MC cable includes a #4 ground wire and features a compact stranded copper conductor for flexibility and durability. It is insulated with moisture- and flame-resistant cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) XHHW-2, with black conductors numbered for easy identification.
The cable is cabled together with a ground and wrapped in Mylar tape beneath an overall aluminum interlocked armor. UL listed for 600 volts at 90°C dry and 75°C wet locations, it meets multiple standards including UL 44, 1569, 1581, 1685 and IEEE 1202 vertical flame test. It is rated for use in commercial, industrial, institutional, and multi-residential feeder and branch circuits, including hazardous locations as defined by NEC articles and Federal Spec A-A59544.
