It is rated for use in motion picture studios, theaters, and assemblies with 100 people or more, complying with NEC Articles 230.43, 300.22(C), 330, 396, 518, 520, 530, and 645. The cable is approved for installation in raceways, open-air runs with a messenger, exposed, concealed, and tray spaces that meet environmental air requirements per NEC Article 300.22(C).
Construction includes soft annealed ASTM B3 copper conductors with THHN PVC/nylon insulation rated UL 83 and VW-1 flame resistance. It has a bare copper ground wire, interlocking galvanized steel armor, and a combination core protector tape to maintain a round cable profile. The cable meets multiple UL and ASTM standards, including UL 83, UL 1479 fire tests, and NEC MC 330 specifications.
