This 6/3 Copper MC Cable features stranded copper conductors with a ground wire and a PVC jacket for added protection. The cable has interlocked tape armor and a durable, sunlight, oil, and abrasion-resistant jacket. It is insulated with THHN/THWN rated polyvinyl chloride and nylon for heat resistance.
Rated for 600 volts and temperatures up to 90°C dry and 75°C wet, this cable meets multiple UL standards and complies with NFPA 70 NEC Articles 300-22©, 518.4, 520.5, 545.4, and 645. Suitable for branch, feeder, and distribution circuits, it can be installed in exposed or concealed trays and other raceways.
The cable is UL listed for direct burial and concrete encasement. It also meets IEEE 1202 vertical flame test requirements and is suitable for use in Class I Division 2, Class II Division 2, and Class III Division 1 hazardous locations.
