A 1 inch square head close-up plug with tapered male national pipe threads (MNPT) suitable for threaded rigid metal conduit and intermediate metal conduit (IMC). Steel material features a zinc electroplated finish to resist corrosion. The plug includes a smooth, rounded integral bushing in each hub that protects conductor insulation. Threaded with accurately tapped, tapered threads, it ensures tight, rigid joints and maintains ground continuity. This plug meets UL 886 (1203) and CSA standards, and is UL listed for use in hazardous locations including Class I, Groups A, B, C, D; Class II, Groups E, F, G; and Class III environments. With a length of 6.5 inches and a width of 4.7 inches, it weighs 0.21 pounds, providing a compact and manageable size for electrical conduit closures requiring explosionproof and dust-ignitionproof protection.
