Copperfree aluminum forms the housing of this 3-phase, 4-pole, 3-wire receptacle rated for 600 volts and 60 amps. It includes a surface mounting box and an interlocked disconnect switch for safe connect and disconnect operations. The dust-ignitionproof design features a weatherproof spring cover and a spring door to keep dust out when the plug is not in use, along with a screw cap. Brass contacts provide consistent pressure and electrical contact, supported by beryllium copper wire springs. Mechanical cable clamps meet UL strain relief requirements, while a neoprene bushing compressed by the cable collar stops moisture entry. High-quality insulators offer strong dielectric and mechanical performance with low arc tracking. Conduit openings are 1-1/2 inch NPT tapped on top and bottom. This receptacle meets Class II, Division 1 and 2, Groups F and G, Class III, and UL standards 1010, 894, 1682, and 1686. It is rated for NEMA 3, 3R, 4, and 4X environments and is compatible with ACP and CPH plugs.
