Malleable iron construction gives this conduit outlet box high tensile strength and resistance to corrosion, impact, and shock. It features two 3/4 inch threaded hubs with smooth rounded integral bushings to protect conductor insulation during wire pulling. The outlet box has a cubic capacity of 7.3 cubic inches and includes an internally threaded malleable iron cover for secure closure. Its externally threaded body ensures tight, rigid joints and grounding continuity. Certified for classified areas, it meets UL 886 and CSA standards for Class I, Division 1 and 2, Groups C and D; Class II, Division 1 and 2, Groups E, F, and G; and Class III environments. The unit is dust-ignitionproof, explosionproof, and raintight, suitable for indoor or outdoor use where those hazards exist. Measuring 4.5 inches long, 3.5 inches wide, and 3.5 inches high, this small round conduit outlet box provides access for maintenance, conduit connection, and directional changes in conduit runs.
