The Acratech Ultimate Ballhead is designed for combining low mass with strong stopping power. It can be used with or without an Arca-type quick release clamp. The head allows full access to 25% of a sphere at any time and can support in any direction as long as the tripod legs are not overloaded. It includes a built-in spirit level for alignment. A quick release plate is not included, but compatible with various plates from different manufacturers. The head has a flat base with 3/8"-16 female mounting and weighs 1 lb / 450 g.
