The AJA UDC Up/Down/Cross Converter is a broadcast quality device that converts between SD, HD, and 3G video formats.
It features SD/HD/3G SDI input and output, HDMI output, and two RCA-style analog outputs. The unit supports 1080p up to 50/60 fps. It includes local dipswitches for control and USB port with MiniConfig software for additional configuration. A reference input allows locking to a local reference. The device also provides 16-channel embedded SDI audio input and output, 8-channel HDMI audio output, and two RCA-style analog outputs at -10dBV (nominal).

HDCP
The UDC does not encode the HDMI output with HDCP encryption. By definition, HD-SDI inputs to the UDC are unencrypted. The HDMI specification requires HDMI monitors to support unencrypted inputs
