The Allen Avionics DLS-5379 DelaySystem is a video delay line designed for applications requiring long audio or video delays. It provides constantly rewriting video storage and can be used in various scenarios including video storing/delay, synchronizing video and audio feeds in a studio, at sporting events, and for action replay of live video feeds. The device operates using large memory banks to maintain video quality during delay. Delay adjustment is possible in 1/16 steps. It requires a separate DC power supply (MFR # PS-12).
