The Alpha 5370C 16/10C Xtra-Guard 1 high performance shielded cable is made for demanding electrical applications. It features stranded tinned copper conductors with 19 strands of 0.0117-inch diameter wire and a 16 AWG size.
The cable is insulated with a 0.016-inch thick PVC layer and a 0.032-inch thick premium gray jacket. It includes an aluminum/polyester foil shield with 25% overlap facing inward and a nylon ripcord for easy jacket removal. This construction provides excellent resistance to oil as per UL Oil Res I (60°C RES) Class 43 and reduces EMI interference.
Rated for 300 volts, the cable withstands temperatures from -35°C to 105°C. It complies with AWM 2464 VW-1 flame test, CSA CMG FT4, REACH, and RoHS standards. Lengths are sold by the foot with a minimum of 50 feet and maximum of 1000 feet available.
