The Alpha 5462C is a 20 AWG, 2-conductor shielded cable with Xtra-Guard 1 insulation and jacket, sold by the foot with a minimum length of 50 feet and maximum of 1000 feet. Its gray PVC jacket offers resistance to oils, meeting UL Oil Res I (60C RES) Class 43 standards. The cable operates in ambient temperatures up to 105 °C and down to -35 °C for SR-PVC and -30 °C for PVC.
Constructed with stranded tinned copper conductors (7 strands of 28 AWG wire), it features an aluminum/polyester foil shield with 25% overlap facing inward, providing effective protection against EMI when used with the Supra-Shield drain wire. The cable includes a nylon ripcord for easy jacket removal and a premium jacket for durability.
