The 1.25" Alpine Astronomical Baader Single Polarizing Filter is designed to reduce extraneous light and enhance image contrast during lunar and planetary observations.
It features standard 1.25" threads for compatibility with most eyepieces. This filter can also be used to adjust brightness during solar observations when paired with certified solar filters like the Alpine Herschel Prism or AstroSolar Safety Film. Note that this product is not a solar filter and should be used in conjunction with proper certified solar filters to prevent eye damage.
