The API Audio 212L is a microphone preamp module designed for Legacy and Vision consoles and the L200 rack chassis.
It provides up to 55 dB of continuously variable gain control and a 2520 op-amp with transformer-balanced I/O. The module includes a -20 dB pad for hot signals, a button for selecting 48V phantom power, and a 5-segment LED VU meter. It features a low noise floor and high clipping point of +28 dBm, making it suitable for professional recording applications.
