API AUDIO 529 500-Series Stereo Compressor/Limiter Module

The API AUDIO 529 is a stereo compressor/limiter module based on the API 2500 Stereo Bus Compressor, designed for a compact 500-series form factor. It features continuously variable detented controls, THRUST circuit with three settings (Hard, Medium, Soft), and options for compression knee types and characteristics. The module includes threshold control, attack and release times, ratio selection, and various gain adjustment settings. It also has two LED meters for monitoring gain reduction and stereo levels. The 529 incorporates API's custom output transformer and proprietary circuitry, with specifications including input and output impedances, frequency response, signal-to-noise ratio, power source, and physical dimensions.
