The API AUDIO TranZformer CMP is a VCA compressor designed for guitars, bass, and keyboards. It features switchable attack settings of 1 or 10 ms and selectable release times of 300 ms or 1 second. The unit offers feedback or feedforward compression modes. It includes a buffered bypass, no preset saving, and has 1/4" TS instrument inputs and outputs. Powered by 9 to 18 VDC at 100 mA, it does not include an AC/DC power adapter or battery support. The device measures 4.6 x 3.8 x 3" and weighs 1.5 lb.
