The Common Mode Speaker Line Filter (JPB-2016) is designed to remove unwanted heterodyne tones resulting from capacitive coupling between multiple Class D power amplifier outputs.
Heterodyning occurs when two or more frequencies combine to produce sum and difference tones within the audible range. This filter addresses issues that may arise when output cables from multiple Class D amplifiers are positioned close together over long distances, even without an audio signal. The JPB-2016 uses Neutrik speak-ON NL-2 or NL-4 connectors for its connections.
