The Ashly WR-5 is a wall-mounted, microprocessor-based serial-data remote control for Ashly amplifiers and processors with a serial-data connector. It allows management of sound systems within defined parameters. The remote connects via a serial-data port and is programmed using Protea Software (Windows). Up to four units can be daisy-chained and powered from one host, with additional units added via an in-line power-supply adapter. It fits standard North American wall boxes with a four-conductor low-gauge Euroblock connection. The unit includes a green LED indicator next to each button for visual feedback of active functions.
