The Astatic 2220VP is a boundary microphone designed for mounting into surfaces up to 3" thick.
It features a continuously variable polar pattern and is resistant to RF interference. The mic includes a 3-pin XLR connection and has a built-in 80 Hz high-pass filter. It is constructed with a threaded, all-metal body for easy mounting into hard surfaces.
