The Astatic 901VP is a condenser boundary microphone with a continuously variable polar pattern. It is designed for speech and vocal capture in sound-reinforcement and teleconferencing applications. The microphone uses the boundary effect to capture clear speech with reduced room ambience. The continuously variable polar pattern allows adjustment of the voice pickup pattern for optimal performance. The 901VP resists interference from devices such as cell phones and includes a 30' TA3F to XLR cable. It requires 12, 24, or 48 V phantom power.
