The Axis Communications M7104 4-Channel Video Encoder is a device that supports four channels with quad view capability. It uses Axis Zipstream Technology and supports 720 x 480 resolution. The encoder includes H.264/H.265/MJPEG encoding with resolutions ranging from 176 x 120 to 720 x 480 at 30 fps. It has 2x Block 9-Pin (RS-422/RS-485) control I/O, 4x BNC input video I/O, and no audio I/O. The device supports HDCP and PoE+ 802.3at, PoE 802.3af. It also includes a single SD/SDHC/SDXC memory card slot and proprietary 8 to 28 VDC power input with RJ45 input/output. The encoder supports various protocols including ARP, CIFS/SMB, DDNS, DHCP, DNS, FTP, HTTP, HTTPS, ICMP, IGMP, IPv4, IPv6, MDNS/Bonjour, NTP, QOS, RTCP, RTP, RTSP, SFTP, SMTP, SNMP, SOCKS, SRTP, SSH, TCP, TLS, UDP, UPnP, USGv6. It also has presets and supports RS-422 RS-485 control protocols.
