Axis Communications W800 System Controller

The Axis Communications W800 System Controller is designed for centralized system management. It supports up to 5 W700/701 docking stations and up to 40 W100 body-worn cameras. The device includes security features such as password protection, HTTPS network access control, digest authentication, brute force delay protection. It supports various protocols including IPv4, IPv6 USGv6, HTTPS, Bonjour, DNS, NTP, TCP, UDP, ICMP, DHCP, ARP. Throughput is 100 Mb/s per camera from the camera to the system controller and 1 Gb/s from the system controller to content destination. The device includes an application programming interface for body-worn integration. It supports destinations such as evidence management systems, third-party evidence management software from Axis application development partners, video management systems, AXIS Camera Station, and other third-party video management software from Axis application development. Cybersecurity features include signed firmware, secure boot, protection of cryptographic keys with FIPS 140-2 certified TPM 2.0 module, CJIS compliant encrypted SSD (AES-256), AES-256 encryption standard, end-to-end encryption of content compliant with security of connected devices. The casing is IP3X rated aluminum and plastic, color black NCS S 9000-N. It includes a mounting bracket. The device is PVC-free. Power supply is 12 VDC, typical 12.25 W, maximum 16 W. Connectors include 1 x (uplink) shielded RJ45 1000M and 5 x (device network) shielded RJ45 1000M USB 2.0 DC connector for 12 VDC input. Storage is 480 GB SSD.
