The Belden 1425A cable features 15 pairs of 24 AWG stranded conductors made from tinned copper. Each pair is insulated with Datalene® material and twisted to minimize interference. The cable includes an overall Beldfoil shield offering 100% coverage along with a drain wire for improved grounding.
Encased in a chrome-colored PVC jacket, this cable has an outside diameter of 0.455 inches. It is suitable for low capacitance and is often used in RS-232 and RS-422 applications.
