Belden 8103 is a 24 AWG stranded computer cable with three twisted pairs, suitable for EIA RS-232 and RS-422 applications. Each conductor consists of 7x32 tinned copper strands and features Datalene® insulation for low capacitance performance.
The cable includes an overall Beldfoil® shield providing 100% coverage and a 65% braid shield for added protection against interference. A drain wire is integrated to assist with grounding. The outer jacket is chrome-colored PVC, measuring 0.283 inches in diameter.
